Jon Cole Survives Horrific Fire

Jon Cole has just told of his horrific accident whilst working on his boat.

On June 9 he was working on his old V-Drive raceboat when a static charge exploded a fume fire from under the bow.  Jon was horrifically engulfed in flames and had to be air-lifted to the Grossman Burn Center where he was hospitalized until yesterday.

Jon has suffered 3rd degree burns to over 20% of his body and is lucky to be alive. His face was miraculously saved.

Since the incident Jon has undergone two skin graft surgeries to deal with the 3rd degree burns. Jon said, “I should be fully recovered in the next 3 to 6 months and I thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support that he received.  I could not have survived this horrific accident without it”.

This must have been a dreadful experience and I, as many others do, wish Jon a safe recovery from this ordeal.
