13 July: With three rounds of European Water Ski Racing Championships done, the event came to an end last night at the closing ceremony and presentation of trophies. Although the weather played havoc with plans through the week, the final day of racing was a spectacular demonstration of water ski racing in Europe by almost 100 international skiers.
I am hurrying off to get a Ferry back to Europe and fly back home to Prague. I shall then be heading to Long Beach on Tuesday. There are many photos and videos to be shared and I shall do the best I can to get them out as soon as possible.
In the meantime, the following results that show the final positions of European skiers in the 2008 European Water Ski Racing Championships. A number of videos by Roger Lincoln are below the results.

Wayne Mawer (AUS) – won all three Mens F1 races
Chris Stout (AUS) – took 2nd in round 3 F1 mens
Brady Hoggins (USA) – won Juniors in round 1 & 2
Ben Gulley (AUS) – took 3rd in round 2 of F2 and 1st in round 3 of F2
Cameron King – took 8th in F2 round 1
