The 18th World Water Ski Racing Championships officially.
The opening ceremony took competitors and spectators through the volcanic hills of Tenerife on open top buses and the boats in tact with locals filling the streets to show their support. All teams are ready for the first race of the championship that will start at 9.am tomorrow morning.
We will be doing our best to keep you updated with the races throughout the championship.
