Annual British Racing Ball – 6th December

Tony Williams has announced that the annual Racing Ball is to be held at the Oxford Belfry Hotel on the 6th December. (All details enclosed with the Booking Form below)

He adds; 2008 is the 40th year of British National Ski Racing. The first British National Racing Championships were held in 1968 at Chasewater, Varne, Hunstanton, Hartlepool, Penarth and Kent Clubs. John Boardman of Varne became the first ever British Racing Champion.

It would be nice to have as many of the older racers at our Ball to celebrate 40 years of racing. As you know Martin Davies took part in the very first National Series and is still racing today.

Please help us inform as many past racers as possible of the forthcoming event and hopefully they will be pleased to order tickets and attend this memorable occasion.
