The new host of the 2010 European Championships (21-28 Aug) is Arcos de la Frontera in Spain. Perched in the hills of Andalucia, with its tangled labyrinth of cobbled streets that lead up to a sandstone castle, Arcos was declared a national historic-artistic monument in 1962 in recognition of its exceptional architecture and impressive location.
