Former British water ski team members (and nephews of former World Champion Steve Moore) Jamie and Dan Cramphorn are taking part in a boat rally called the Blade Run. See www.bladerun.com. It’s starting in Ramsgate, Britain on 26th July 2007 and the route is as follows:
Day 1: Ramsgate to Ostend
Day 2: Ostend to Rotterdam.
Day 3: Rotterdam to Amsterdam.
It’s a total of about 260 miles and there are 30 teams entered. Jamie will be skiing behind a new 30ft Donzi with twin V8s.
The event is going to be very highly publicised and is organised by the same guy who started up the Gumball Rally; Duncan Scholls. It has already had a four page preview in the Sunday Telegraph and the event is going to be filmed by a couple of different TV channels.
