On the 19th November Great Britain National Water Ski Racing held its annual Dinner/Dance and presentations.
British Team Captain, Tony Williams said; “Carlo Cassa skis behind a British Boat and we were delighted to have him at our function. The Great Britain racers as a whole have been so impressed by his attitude, personality and sportsmanship and over the years he has given many competitors and spectators so much pleasure. His general charisma has encouraged many youngsters to emulate him within the sport and he has been a wonderful ambassador for your Country”.
As a mark of GB’s respect, the British Team Captain presented Carlo with a lead crystal trophy suitably engraved and the 180 guests present gave Carlo a standing ovation.
Guest of Honour was Lord Colin Moynihan (Chairman of British Olympic Association and Member of House of Lords) and he appears in one of the pictures together with Carlo and Tony.
