Development Officer Vacancy at British Water Ski

British Water Ski currently has a vacancy for a Development Officer to play a key role within the organisation to assist in achieving short and long term goals.

Based at the HQ but requiring extensive travel within the British Isles, the Development Officer will be responsible for implementing and delivering the plans and policies of British Water Ski in relation to its Development programmes.

Applications are invited from suitably experienced candidates with a minimum of 1 years experience in a sports development or similar role. The position would suite a dynamic individual looking for a challenging role, with the relevant skills and capabilities to put BWS development programmes into action at all levels of the sport. Key skills and abilities will include:

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently within a pressurised working environment.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and schedule workload to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to network and build relationships with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds at all levels of the sport.
  • Strong IT skills and some fluency in standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • Personality, drive and commitment to motivate others and deliver results.
  • A passion and interest in sport and a belief in the positive impact it can have.

Salary: Circa £22-26K dependent on skills and experience & company car provided
