The UK has been battered by extreme weather over the past few months, resulting in National races having to be cancelled.
British F2 Driver Nigel Newland met a year ago with local authorities & a private individual who was prepared to fund a race at Folkestone . Unfortunately the weather dictated the race weekend with the racing being cancelled.

Thank you to everyone who turned up last weekend.
Unfortunately yet again the weather spoilt the occasion.
I was hoping that we could still run with cover from the harbour wall, but with 30-35mph winds and seas so large it was not possible.
Everyone I dealt with in Folkestone was extremely helpful and willing which I find quite refreshing in this day and age.
I would welcome your comments and views on the venue good and bad, to assess considering going there again.
Expenses for hosting the race were all covered by a private individual and I understand he is keen to promote and finance Folkestone to a National and even European level should we be willing.
