Wayne Harvey is New British Team Captain

As Tony Williams steps down from the role of British Team Captain (read more), Wayne Harvey has agreed to fill this key post in British water ski racing.

Wayne has decades of experience in water ski racing from the A Class racing category of the 70’s to F1 at World level. A skier, observer, driver, official and owner of the infamous Plus One, Wayne comes with the kind of experience that is critical in a Team Captain to fully understand the sport, his team and the challenges that go with the role of Team Captain.

Since Tony Williams stepped out of his British racing roles, British Water Ski wrote; “As the responsible member from the Management Committee, Mike Waterman will stand as Acting Chairman until a new Chairman and Vice Chairman are appointed in the New Year.  Wayne Harvey has agreed to take on the role of Team Captain to fill this key post on the committee.”
