Below are the results from three important questions that were asked in an open survey of water ski racers on the subject of wrapping, ski length and rope length.

Should skiers be allowed to wrap?
– YES 95.4% (165 people)
– NO 4.6% (8 people)

How long should skis be at international level?
– Allow the length to increase 34.1% (59 people)
– Limit maximum length to the current average race ski 61.8% (107 people)
– Decrease the length by approx 6 inches from what the average race ski is today 2.3% (4 people)
– Decrease the length by approx 12 inches from what the average race ski is today 1.7% (3 people)

How long should ropes be be at International level?
– Leave the maximum length at 75m 65.7% (117 people)
– Decrease the maximum length by 5m 6.2% (11 people)
– Decrease the maximum length by 10m 10.7% (19 people)
– Increase the maximum length by 5m 6.7% (12 people)
– Increase the maximum length by 10m 10.7% (19 people)
