On 9th & 10th August 2008, the 1st ‘Bernico Poker Run‘ will be run in Belgium. The idea for this exclusive event was conceived by two friends, Nico Bertels (Bernico International) and Ben Maes (Jet Logistics) – both boat and water sport fanatics. Their goal …to raise money for a Belgian organisation that supports people who have cancer and their families (Kom op tegen Kanker).
Nico and Ben want to make this day an unforgettable experience for children fighting against the disease. The media too will take a big part in this event, with importance for the organizers as well as the sponsors. From the smallest flyer to helicopters accompanying the boats, everything is taken care of with the greatest care.
Boats of all types will be intering, including powerboats with more than 1000 horsepower, P1, Offshore, yachts as well as family and pleasure boats.
