Those at the European Championships in Arcos de la Frontera this year will recall the boat accident which Austria’s Georg Förstel suffered. Below is a note from Georg with an update and some special thanks.
Hallo, I‘m back!!!
It was a hard way from Spain back to Austria and afterwards a hard way from hospital back home.
But now I am very happy to stay home again and I hope to get completely well very soon.
I like to thank all of you for the many recovery wishes! Special thanks to Simon Faulkner, who helped Günter to save my boat.
So I’m just looking forward and hope that I will meet you next racing season.
