The 2010 Hamilton Bridge to Bridge Water Ski Classic will be held on 27h & 28th of November 2010 down the beautiful Waikato River based in Hamilton, New Zealand.
The main race is 82kms long and has 2 legs running from Cambridge to through Hamilton to Taupiri and then returning back to Hamilton. The 2009 race was won by “Force Fed” towing 2 New Zealand Skiers, Paul Mitchell and Chris Holman and “Warlord” has won the race 10 times and will be back again in 2010.
Ski Racing New Zealand invites competitors from all around the world to come join us at this race, bring your teams and even your boats. If you are after a tow or more information regarding this event please email brad@rollosmarine.co.nz
Brad said; “We are very keen to see some Australian boats come across the Tasman and give the race a crack and we will help out as much as we can if anyone is interested in bringing a boat over.
Along with the main race there is also a 20km up 20km back Time Trial for all competitors, Social Classes, Family Class, Powerboat Sprints, Poker Run, Jetski & Thundercat Sprints. Something for the whole family and heaps to watch.”
